October Mosaic HR eForms Update
Following the launch of Position Management Mosaic HR eForms in May 2021, five new Employee Change Request eForms will be introduced in January 2022. These eForms will be used in place of the current HR Event Form and will include requests for Terminations, Retirements, Contract Extensions, Compensation Adjustments and Schedule Updates.
The digitized Employee Change Request eForms deliver benefits such as streamlined workflows, automated updates into Mosaic, data validation, auto-generated email notifications, and visibility into eForm status throughout the lifecycle of the request. Targeted training will be held in mid-January for those that perform HR related activities in departments and Faculties.
For the last five months, the Position Management eForms have been used in place of the HR Event Form to request new positions and to update position attributes. Adoption of the new process has been overwhelmingly positive; however, we are still adapting to this new system and recommend all users to review the Mosaic HR eForms webage for information about Position Management and when to use Position Management eForms. Users should note that before creating new positions for upcoming roles, it is important to first determine whether it’s possible to update the attributes of an existing position via the Position Data Update eForm. Since May 17 and as of September 30, 2,490 Position Management eForms have been submitted and 2,293 eForms were completed across 236 departments – with a 1 day median completion turnaround time.
