Pre-Hire MacID eForm

About Pre-Hire MACID eForm

The new Pre-hire MacID tool was successfully launched in August 2022, to remove the manual process and reducing significant waiting time from 7-days to 0.5 days.

The new Pre-Hire Mac ID eForm has expedited provisioning of the MacID to new employees during the ‘pre-hire’ stage to enable departments to initiate system access in preparation for the employees start date. Following automated system validation, the eForm automatically creates a MacID based on employee’s personal information inputted on eForm. The eForm can be used for all employee groups, except for TAs and work-study/summer students, as these employees already have their MacIDs provisioned via their student record in Mosaic Campus Solutions.

As of May 2023, a total of 843 MacID eForms were fully executed across all employee groups and Faculties. Faculty of Health Sciences accounted for 43 % of MacID eForms executed. More than 60 % of the eForms were executed for hires into Unifor Unit 1 or Interim appointments.
