Faculty Relations (Provost’s Office)

Create a process review of faculty recruitment, hiring position and job data change processes.

Outcomes

  • Increased accuracy of faculty member data in Mosaic, through the creation of streamlined processes and supporting documentation to train the Human Resources Service Centre (HRSC), and Faculty Relations offices
  • Implement the Faculty Tracking Module to track key faculty member data in Mosaic
  • Reduce time to update job data for faculty in Mosaic
  • Clearly define roles and responsibilities of all stakeholder groups
  • Improve experience for all stakeholder groups

Approach

  • Understand the current state for cross-functional transactions impacting both Faculty Relations and HR and design and implement a future state, including training, standard operating procedures and clearly defined roles and responsibilities. (Completed July 1, 2020.)
  • Define processes to update HR Modules with data from the Faculty Tracking Module to increase accuracy of information within Mosaic
  • Define a future state
